Ferraro's

Another thing. When I stayed with my Banff buddy Bobby Fuhrer in his house above Slocan Lake in the winter of 2008 he took me to Ferraro's, the Italian grocery store in Trail. "The" Italian grocery store in Trail. I took Kate there today and we met Danny Ferraro, the owner, who gave us a run-down on, and a taste of an array of olive oils and balsamic vinegars. At the end of it all we bought a bottle of each (wonderful) and he gave us a company t-shirt normally only his employees wear. 

So, next time you're in Trail check out Ferraro's.
